Collaborating with community stakeholders to help serve underserved populations

Program Marketing

Marketing is the action of promoting a business, product, or service. It usually includes some degree of market research and advertising.

Program marketing is the planned and coordinated set of activities undertaken to announce and explain the benefit of a given program.

This training will show you how to promote your organization to the community at-large with a compelling marketing plan!

After completing the training participants will be able to:

  • Recognize the importance of marketing programs and services in an effective manner to potential funders, clients, and key stakeholders
  • Identify and develop unique methods to position and protect an organization’s brand
  • Develop and execute a marketing action plan
  • Monitor and evaluate marketing efforts

NCHP's Program Marketing can be presented as a training or technical assistance.

Our trainings are available to directly funded community based organizations free of charge.

Please request trainings using the CBA Request Information System (CRIS) and ask for NCHP.

In some circumstances, if you are unable to access the system directly, your local health department may be able to request on your behalf.
